John Walter Woods, 72, of St. Albans died Aug. 1, 1998, at the home of his daughter, Marsha K. Morris of St. Albans, after a short illness.
He was retired from Union Carbide Construction with 35 years' service. He was a member of First Baptist Church, The Woodlands, Texas.
Also surviving: daughter, Belinda C. Casey of The Woodlands; sisters, Evelyn Dooley of Teays Valley, Loubell Osborne of Gotha, Fla., Elizabeth Stinson of Austin, Texas; brothers, Joe of Hyde Park, N.Y., Jack of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Jim of Elyria, Ohio, Jerry of Red Hook, N.Y., Fred of Wilmington, N.C., Alber Gillespie of Ashland, Ky.; four grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans, with the Rev. Michael Moore officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. | | Spouses | |
